When the people want prints, you deliver prints! And when a photo is this good, you only let Contact Photo Lab print it. So here’s the deal, to commemorate Johnnie Davis‘s New Bed Stuy Studio opening here in Los Angeles, we did a limited edition run of 100 “Wake up!” fine art photographs. Like I said before, these photos were printed at Contact Photo Lab with archival ink on 11 X 14 matte Kodak photo paper. Each photo is numbered and signed by Johnnie and myself. Each print is $100 and when they’re gone they’ll be gone forever. This photo was taken on the iconic Ride for Black Lives Monday loop and Johnnie and I both agree, it's about the only thing we have to say to the world right now! *EDIT* Yo! Recently Johnnie Davis was involved in a bad mountain bike accident , breaking his back. Johnnie is well on his way to a 100% recovery, but has racked up some pretty hefty hospital bills, and hasn't been able to work at his store since the accident. So from here 10/13/2021 100% of the profit from these prints will be going directly to him.
